Post LPG, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) Investments, has created a massive impression on Indian Equity market as well economy, contributing toward several financial reforms of Government, RBI and SEBI, to major extent, dancing tune of, various other global economic crisis, name few, US subprime demonetization in India Covid ’19 pandemic lockdown. The recent Covid-19 triggered fears recession due which, foreign investors started sculling back pull out from equity markets India, total net outflow Rs. 1,12,189 crore (Rs.59,377.1 syphoned equities Rs.52,811 debt segment) highest withdrawal ever, March 2020 by FPIs, had worst impact Market extent enormous drop 1203 points BSE Sensex broader NSE Nifty Index tanked 344 2020. This negative effect prompted analyze FIIs Investments not only India’s Index, i.e., but also its selected sectoral indices. FII investments been specifically analyzed both bidirectional uni-directional relationship applying Granger causality model, considered more appropriate have chosen VAR framework for suitable outcome results this study.
